Per a prior agreement with Lord Hyram, Humbart recorded his experiences and sent it to the Zakarum. But tomorrow came, and there were no ruins, no lights, no voices, and no Gregus Mazi. He told his mercenary company that when Mazi came out the following day, they'd go in and get their fill. They heard voices coming from them, as if calling to them, but none of them would enter. The mercenaries camped outside the ruins. Neither Humbart or his men would follow the Sorcerer. Mazi disappeared before their eyes as he entered the shadow of the city. Humbart was skeptical of Mazi's claims of reaching Ureh and entering Heaven, but sure enough, a shimmer occurred, and the ruins appeared 'alive.' Lights even glowed from them. Humbart told him that the quest was helpless and they should just leave, but Mazi remained steadfast. On the seventh day, Mazi again approached the edge of the city's ruins. In the year -736, he traveled with Gregus Mazi to Ureh. In life, Humbart was a veteran fighter from Westmarch, making a living as a mercenary captain.
